Founding Instructor Programme Terms

These terms are an addendum to the YogSpace Instructor Agreement between you and YOGSPACE LTD (company number 17485142, registered in England and Wales, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom).

1. What this is

The Founding Instructor Programme recognises the Instructors who join YogSpace during its beta, before the Platform charges commission or reaches general availability. These terms apply in addition to the Instructor Agreement and do not replace it. If the two conflict, the Instructor Agreement applies unless these terms expressly say otherwise.

2. Who qualifies

You become a Founding Instructor if you complete Verification under the Instructor Agreement, opt in to this Programme, and deliver at least one Session before YogSpace announces that the beta has ended. It does not matter whether the Student found you through YogSpace or came from your own existing students.

3. What you get

  • A permanent Tier 4 commission rate (16%) once commission is switched on for the Platform, whatever your actual Session volume. Other Instructors' rates move with their volume under the Instructor Agreement; yours never goes above the Tier 4 rate.
  • 0% commission during the beta, the same as every Instructor today.
  • "Founding Instructor" recognition on your public profile, once this is built.
  • Priority placement in search and browse results over non-founding Instructors who join later, once this is built. This is a commitment we will honour when the feature ships.
  • A direct feedback channel to the YogSpace team (the Instructor feedback form, and WhatsApp with our Head of Instructor Relations) to help shape the product before general launch.

4. What we ask of you

  • Bring your existing students onto the Platform where practical, so real use can show us real problems.
  • Answer the Instructor feedback form when we send it.
  • Keep your calendar and availability reasonably up to date.
  • Report bugs, payment problems or confusing flows directly to us.

There is no minimum number of Sessions and no exclusivity required to remain a Founding Instructor, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.

5. When commission is switched on

When YogSpace starts charging commission, we will:

  1. give Founding Instructors at least 30 days' written notice, as for every Instructor under the Instructor Agreement; and
  2. apply your permanent Tier 4 rate (16%) from that date. You do not start at Tier 1.

6. How long it lasts

Founding Instructor status, once earned, does not expire, and the Tier 4 rate in section 3 is permanent. When the beta ends, new Instructors can no longer qualify, but existing Founding Instructors keep their benefits.

7. Leaving and coming back

You can stop teaching at any time under the Instructor Agreement. If you stop and later return, you keep your Founding Instructor status and Tier 4 rate as long as your account is in good standing and was not closed by us for a breach of the Instructor Agreement.

By accepting these terms in the app, you confirm that you have read and agree to them together with the Instructor Agreement.
